We left Copan after a short visit, and headed to San Pedro Sula, to be on time for our long Tica Bus ride to Managua, Nicaragua. We worked out a deal with the hostel owner, and ended up in Las Guaras, Hostel. These were the only photos I took in San Pedro Sula, of our room. (Note: This Hostel is on Calle 13. I am full of regret that I didn't make someone take my photo under the sign. DAMN!)
It had glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, too. Great.
After a long and exhausting trip through the dry Honduran countryside, we made it to Granada, where every good hostel was full, because of a World Poetry event.
Not the best start, but eventually, Granada won me over. They have monkeys.
